Interim Assistant Director of Adult and Older People's Services (Commissioning)

The Role

An Interim Assistant Director of Adult and Older People's Services (Commissioning) is required by a PCT to provide expertise into the Adult and Older People's services directorate. This newly created role will see the successful candidate taking a lead on all Adult and Older People's services (with the exception of Acute Care), take a lead role in the management of the existing team as well as well as taking on project management responsibility for a series of cutting edge projects (including mental health and continuing care reshaping). This is an opportunity make a real difference for the patients within this PCT's locality.

It is essential to have experience gained within the NHS within adults, older people, continuing or mental health care. You will have worked up to at least Deputy Director level (if not beyond), although, candidates with senior management experience who have had strong experience managing commissioning teams will also be considered. The assignment is expected to start asap, will last for 3-6 months and is based in South East England.
