An Interim Head of Governance and Risk is required by the Provider Arm of a PCT to take lead responsibility for the Organisations Clinical Governance, Health and Safety and Complaints Management.
This challenging assignment will also see you taking responsibility for a small team of people, you will oversee preparation for external assessments (e.g. NHSLA), prepare reports for the board and governance frameworks, proactively manage SUIs (serious untoward incidents) and assist with the development and implementation of county wide integration plans. This role will also encompass a mentoring aspect, which will involve imparting best practice knowledge and embedding it within the organisation.
It is essential to have experience gained within the NHS with specific Clinical Responsibility. It is preferable that this experience be gained within a Primary Care environment, though candidates from a secondary care environment will also be considered.
The assignment starts immediately, is based in Central England and is expected to last for 3-6 months. The assignment can be completed on a 3-5 days per week basis.
