Interim Commissioning Manager

The Role

An Interim Commissioning Manager is required by a Primary Care Trust to lead the performance management of a number of existing Acute Contracts. This includes NHS providers, local/non-local and ISTC providers. You will also take the lead in Emergency and Ambulance contracts. There are a series of over/under performances to be reconciled, hence a keen eye for detail, strong analysis skills and good negotiation/stakeholder management skills will be essential.

The successful candidate will have a strong contracts management/commissioning background with specific Acute contracts experience. The assignment starts in June 2009, is expected to last 3 to 6 months and is based in South England.
