Interim Head of Practice Based Commissioning

The Role

 

An Interim Head of Practice Based Commissioning is required by a PCT to lead a small team on all aspects of PbC across a number of localities. You will work closely with commissioners and PbC consortia to develop a robust strategy, ensuring buy in from all parties.

Working with commissioners you will influence and lead decision making and ‘mentor' existing staff to ensure their continued professional development, as well as taking lead responsibility for the implementation of clinical commissioning and the World Class Commissioning agenda.

It is essential that candidates are able to demonstrate strong senior commissioning experience, and a good understanding of PbC within the NHS.

The assignment starts immediately, is based in Southern England and it is anticipated that the assignment will last for up to 6 months.
