Interim Manager - Interim Head of Primary Care

The Role

 

Required by a PCT to take lead responsibility within Commissioning for Primary Medical Care Services, Dental and Optometry Services. This challenging assignment is based with a PCT that takes responsibility for commissioning services on behalf of a neighbouring PCT in addition to services within its own locality.

You will also take responsibility for the development of the Primary Care Strategy, as well as play a key role in ensuring its timely and cost effective implementation.

It is essential have experience of developing primary care strategy documentation, strong commissioning experience as well as team management skills gained within the NHS.

The assignment is due to start ASAP, is based in North East England and is expected to last for 3-6 months.
