Interim Strategic Commissioning Director - PCT

The Role

 

An Interim Strategic Commissioning Director is required by a Primary Care Trust to deliver the strategic commissioning development plan for the locality.

This challenging role will involve managing a commissioning team to ensure robust services (specifications and contracts) are in place, as well as monitored. You will also take a lead in managing the implementation of service change, leading dialogues with providers which will include primary, secondary and third sector.

It is essential for candidates to be able to demonstrate strong experience gained within Commissioning in the NHS. The assignment is expected to start immediately, will last for 3-6 months and is based on the South Coast of England.
