Interim Operational Risk Manager - Banking/Mortgages

The Role

Six month assignment for an interim operational risk professional to join this Retail Bank. Heading up Operational Risk and reporting to the Divisional MD you will be responsible for reviewing all operational risk frameworks relating to mortgage sales, reviewing process, technology, team structure, relationships to compliance and 3rd parties etc and will make and implement recommendations which will insure robust procedures and controls for this area.

It is essential that the interim have a track record in operational risk in a retail bank and that they are able to drill into the detail as well as see the bigger picture. The role will be looking at operational risk in its broadest capacity and as the operations are linked to mortgage sales a good knowledge of MCOB /BCOB will be important as well as a general understanding of compliance.
