Interesting role for interim professional with expertise and knowledge of back office processing. The products in question are savings products i.e. cash ISAS's and fixed rate bonds received from a variety of channels i.e. post, telephony, on line etc are essential for this role. The client is undergoing a significant period of investment and is looking to increase its capacity and capability in these areas. Responsible for 800+ staff and 12 direct staff, responsibility will be to manage both business as usual and significantly create and drive a programme of change management to improve performance of the operations and productivity into a world class function.
The role will form part of a senior management team and will work closely with technology, marketing, compliance and HR/Training. The role calls for vision and clarity alongside the experience of running a high volume processing operation. Good man management skills are essential as is experience of managing a back office function of this size involved in the multi channel processing. Knowledge of savings and investment products or similar is also essential for credibility with direct reports and peers.
